Conrad Bangkok Review

The sharpest large-scale business luxury hotel in central Bangkok, with resort-style recreation on an urban footprint.

Conrad Bangkok, Wireless Road (CBD), Thailand

Overview: What is Conrad Bangkok?

Conrad Bangkok opened in 2003 as the jewel of Bangkok's All Seasons Place mixed-use complex on Wireless Road. The 32-story tower was interior-designed by Wilson and Associates' Singapore division on an unusual octagonal footplate that produces distinctively shaped rooms. A 2018-2019 renovation led by Ray Chuang of Cheng Chung Design updated rooms, the lobby, and conference rooms with oak, teak, gold, and brushed-bronze finishes.

Design and architecture

The octagonal tower footprint is the architectural differentiator. Inside, the 2018-2019 renovation introduced warmer, heavier materials (oak, teak, brushed bronze) over the original beige and bamboo palette. The three-floor atrium and marble-tile lobby read more resort than business hotel.
